Last Tuesday evening (11/18/2008) there was an interesting panel discussing the impact of an Obama Administration on Middle East Relations.. the speakers were very informed about the topic and were very interesting to listen to..there were several Zionist in the audience who were shaking their heads in disagreement most of time, unsurprisingly. Yet not one of them was able to articulate a question to the panelist challenging their arguments.

the panelist all agreed that Obama's policies toward the Middle East will depend on who he surrounds himself with.. well, I sure hope they're wrong about that because so far things aren't looking good.. Obama's chief of staff , Rahm Emanuel, (son of a Jewish terrorist) is a pro-Israeli hardliner and not expected to play a fair role in the Palestine/Israel peace process..other senior positions are expected to be given to pro-Zionist lobbyist Dennis Ross and Martin Indyk (who have been described as "Israel's lawyers")..

it seems change is going to require more than a Barak Obama....and as one in the panel recommended, we need to intensify the boycott, divestment of the Israeli apartheid regime.
